Photo Contest: Win a JOBY GorillaMobile!

It's no secret that the iPhone is equipped with a great little camera. In fact, there is a entire genre of photography dedicated to it - iPhoneography.
In recognition of the iPhone's great photographic potential, TiPb has opened up this Photography and Video forum, and what a better way to celebrate it than to have a contest! A photo contest, that is.
To enter, submit up to 3 of your best photos. The rules? The photos must have been taken with an iPhone and edited only with iPhone apps. With each submission, include which apps you used to make your edits. We may ask the finalists to email the photos to us so that we can check the exif data and verify the photo was, indeed, taken with an iPhone.
The winner will receive a tripod for iPhone courtesy of ! This awesome little accessory includes a case that can be connected to the GorrillaMobile tripod in either landscape or portrait orientation. The legs of the GorillaMobile are extremely flexible and can be wrapped around and attached to nearly every surface. Every serious iPhoneographer should have one!
You have one week to submit your entries. We'll choose our 5 favorites, post them on the blog, and let our readers vote for the winner!Last edited by Leanna Lofte; 09-27-2011 at 04:29 PM.

These were all from when I was in California heading to Los Angeles. I used the original camera app but with HDR on. and no, I wasn't driving lolLast edited by hudster; 09-26-2011 at 08:46 PM.

I like this one, taken during a snowstorm in DC--that's the Peace Memorial in the foreground and, obviously, the United States Capital Building in the background. It was edited with PS Express, but sadly, I think its metadata is no longer in tact... :-(
Peace Memorial DC.JPG
This one, however, was one of the first pictures I took with my iPhone 4--no editing program was used, and, interestingly, the room was fully lit; the camera was just so close to the flower that the flash lit the flower and darkened everything in the background on its own.

Hi TiPB-ers!
This is a great idea for a contest.
Here are my three contenders. I shot them on an iPhone 4 with the stock app, then added filters in Camera+
PS: I just realized it's actually pretty hard to pick just three photos out of all I've taken, so good luck picking the winner. This will be no easy job.

No adjustments were made to this photo.

Used Snapseed to make a cool grunge look

Used Snapseed (once again) to deepen the color of this beautiful grove of trees

And used Snapseed on this barn in Ohio. The grunge look makes it look classic. - 09-27-2011, 11:06 AM #21
Great photos everyone! I'm amazed. Here are my entries:

Taken/edited with Adobe Photoshop Express.

Taken/edited with Adobe Photoshop Express.

Taken/edited with TrueHDR. Yes, I poured it.
The Photoshop Express "Reduce Noise" filter is by far the best out there. Really fixes up grainy images. - 09-27-2011, 11:22 AM #22
