Email set up

Having an issue with my email set up. Gmail works like a charm but my me.com account not so much. I put the host name as mail.me.com. Is that right?

Yeah I tried that. Wasn't sure what host name was. Tried imap.mail.me.com and mail.me.com still nothing

Apparently, I'm misunderstanding the obvious, and for that I apologize, but can you not just go to Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then choose "Add Account" and then select "iCloud" using just the associated Apple ID for your me.com account and the password?
