Many of you know, I have had my fair share of phones...several android phones and iPhones ranging from the 4, 4s, and also 5. I have never had a phone last this long on a charge after actually using it like a normal person would. Add to this the 4.7" HD screen, LTE, and mobile hotspot that I've been using and you gotta admit its pretty amazing. I am a fan of both android and iOS and see the pros and cons of both, but the list of cons on Android is shrinking in my experience. Using the S3 and now the MAXX HD I have seen zero lag and both have been as quick and reliable as my iPhones were. Some will argue this, and I understand that everyone's experience may be different, but Android isn't what it was 5 yrs ago...sadly iOS is a little TOO close to what it was 5 yrs ago, which is tired and boring. I had the 5 for a week...returned it because its only SLIGHTLY better than the 4s in my opinion...put a case on it, hold them next to each other, and I could barely tell a difference if any at all.

I will include a screenshot of my battery usage for the past day and a half so you can see for yourself...

I like the look of the Razr MaxxHD.....of course I think from the side it looks an awful lot like the 4/4S with that silver trim/edging.

I'm just so weary of all the lock ups and freezes you get with the androids after just a couple months of using the phone.

I used the s3 for almost 3 months without a problem but we'll see how this one works out... I've had problems like that with a couple iPhones so you never know

Give it time and see if you are still singing that song. I switch to iOS because in my opinion it's more stable. The more I added to my previous Android phone Photon 4g though quite snappy at first started to notice lag and started having its share of crashes. I suppose quad-core might make a difference but I just like how smooth my phone is now. BTW not an apple fanboy. my last two phones Android.

Wow that's amazing batt life! I really like the razrs I have an iPhone 5 and an S3 and I would take the razr maxx HD over the S3 any day

What is the on screen usage time? That's what I'm curious to know. And what size is the battery? Is it only holding charge because there is a tank of a battery in there? Or because it has good hardware and OS?

Both actually the maxx has a big battery and smart actions to make the already big battery last longer

Yeah I just looked up the Maxx battery size. Size is 2.5x the i5 battery.

looking at the attached pic..... Doesn't that show you had to charge the phone about 8-9 times during that 14hr period? When it dips into the red an then battery increases, doesn't that's mean you charged it?

Ahhh, true! I didn't catch that myself... But yeah pretty sure that's what it means. (notice mine does not have that)

I plug my phone up and out quite often and as u can c the red lines aren't that long so that's still a testament to my battery life
