iPhone 4s or samsung galaxy note?

My friend has a samsung galaxy note and it was real nice. Big screen , good standby and talktime etc.

Anybody who had compared this 2 telephones ?

The Note is about the size of my Kindle Touch. That is WAY too big for a phone.

Naee i think its ok, u can have it in a ordinary jeans pocket. And its pretty slim. Question is how its compared to iPhone 4s in tests.

I will be getting the note as soon as it is out and will do a full comparison. It is a big screen but there is barley any bezel around the screen.

I wear women's size one, I guarantee it wouldn't fit in my pocket!

Hate carrying those stupid things, so if my phone doesn't fit in the pocket of my jeans, or jacket, it's not happening.

That's one of the things I do LOVE about the iPhone it's just the right size for in your hand or in your pocket, why would you want more screen at a chance to damage lol

The most key feature on galaxy note is which have a 5.3'' huge screen, but indeed, I like iPhone 4s more, though it is still a 3.5'' screen. and there is an article which view is about the iphone 4s and galaxy note are have different target clients.

I looked at the Note in the AT&T store the other day and I thought it looked nice (I like the white one). Of course since its a Samsung the screen was awesome. A bit big for my taste but I guess thats just a personal preference.

I switched from the 4s to a HTC vivid (4.5 inch) and then the note. I love the note and I quickly got used to the larger size. It fits in my pocket fine, and is very thin. lte speeds are awesome, never go back to 3g.

I also like how customizable Android is without having to fight against Apple.

Some people like larger screens..... example big screen TV's........

I personally think that the note is too big to use as a phone, but most of the younger generations are not making as many calls.

It basically comes down to screen size and if you care about having fast data speeds. Lte is hspa speeds is like going to cable from 56k modem. I didn't care about faster speeds until I tried it, know it's hard to go back. Data speeds will greatly benefit web browsing and streaming music and videos. Other than that, you won't really use it.

It's a welcomed change to have an google device being talked about almost favorable here but I gotta say it.....Android OS is **** ugly!! Why carry around a large device that only showcases an ugly OS? That aside, android ecosystem reminds of my the days when I worked at Nokia and bragged about how powerful the devices are and how beautiful the screen is yet ignoring what it is that really draws the masses to a phone and when the shinny wears off, what else can you do with it? iOS ecosystem makes it possible for people to still buy a 3GS today and still get tremendous use out if it. Sorry to make this an OS argument but in the hierarchy of needs software/apps will drive hardware always. Besides between my iPhone and iPad, there's no more room in my heart to love another mobile device.

I tried the Note for about 2 days so I'm not that qualified to give a full review but for me I just couldn't deal with the size. The OS was actually really nice but I work in the field and move around a lot and it just wasn't practical. So I traded up

to a 4s. I had the 4 about a year ago and came from BB and missed BB and switched back. Now I'm back with apple and couldn't be happier. Its just feels like a better fit for me in many ways. Solid phone.

If the Note was just a tad bit smaller, but since I don't carry a purse and it won't fit in my jean I'll pass.

I used Android for almost 2 years until switching to an iPhone 4s. I will never go back to Android. I am trying it now (read my post regarding 4s vs HTC vivid) and am thoroughly disgusted by the experience. Between low quality components (cameras and screens), hopelessly unreliable OS and apps, and poor UI - I cannot imagine using Android. I have used it for years and gave it another shot. The Samsung may appear pretty on the surface, but it's like putting lipstick on a pig.
