Default Blackberry Z10 & iPhone 5 video comparison

Love the Blackberry Z10 but I still like the iPhone 5 better. Still happy so far that I made the switch

No doubt. I, too, am impressed with the Z10 as it appear in the video, but I want to see and handle it in person. I still don't see me buying it or any other BB device this time around, however. I'm all about Apple right now.

Sure, the devices are going to be nice and there will be apps. But it's not going to be an overall experience like iOS offers with the iTunes, App Store, and iCloud trio.

Maybe not in the beginning, but then again, they really don't need to. As long as their devices can be configured with its users' email account(s) (it's a Blackberry so that is a given) and as long as there is support for storage sites like Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Skybox and Evernote (to name a few) then they should be set for a while, in my opinion.

I can see if you use Google services for all your stuff. But a lot of people would much rather have everything automatically back up to iCloud instead of having to worry about Google, Dropbox, etc. And having all your stuff sync wirelessly every night is much more attractive than lengthy sessions backing up with a cable.

RIM is working on a cloud solution, but I don't think it's ready for consumers yet. BB10 is a step in the right direction, however, I still think it leaves RIM a step behind everyone else Especially when it comes to connected services. BlackBerry World is a big step, too. But again, it's not on the same level as the App Store or even the Amazon App Store.

RIM will survive with BB10 but if they are going to thrive, it'll be with BB10.5 and cloud connected services.

Anyone in doubt should watch the global unveiling of the new BlackBerry 10 platform. This is happening on January 30. Links for live stream will be posted on Crackberry.com.

I will never trade in my iPhone for any other brand, but if I was to go with something different it would the Z10. Just not a fan of android or windows!
Apple built it, so it will work.
