Hmm interesting question... But i would probably go with android too. Though i would complain a lot about the app selections.. The android top ten apps are not very good except the ones that are also in ios.

I've used Android and could be satisfied with it. I'm a former webos users and it will be a cold day in hell before i ever buy another webos phone. It simply didn't get the job done. And again i'm not fixated with this OS or that so they needed much more then multitasking to satisfy me. That got old in a week of few apps. It was supposed to be an alternative for me for an iphone but it didn't cut it for my needs. As for Windows phone i'm not fond of the look of metro. too many colors and stuff. to many flat colored squares. It wouldnt' kill me by it's not my fav. Android it would be. I'd have probably gone Android if i didn't prefer the ipod interface for music.

Don't have the cash the throw around right now but I have been eyeing a used nexus for some time now. I have an old OG droid I rooted and like to play with. I been wanting to try ICS and check out a bigger screen. But I still like using my iPhone 4 as a daily driver.

I recently brought my Mum a Nokia Lumia 800 because her Android phone was to complicated for her. She needed a phone that just works out the box without any fiddling and she couldn't be happier with WP7. I'm very impressed and I'm also a little jealous because I'm tired of jailbreaking my phones to get them the way I want. I would go the WP7 way.

BlackBerry was my first smartphone and will always be my first true love. I'd just bounce right back. However, I'd miss all the functionality of the iPhone. I can do so much more with my iPhone than I ever could with BB.

I'd go back Nokia and their lumina 900 powered by Windows mobile. I know a lot of people here are voting android but I cannot do it. I see android as inherently unstable from security issues, unending lawsuit from every angle attacking the legitimacy of the platform, to poor battery regardless of which device, but most importantly fragmentation of the whole platform which causes each device to ship with an 8 month shelf life. The number of devices compatible with ICS dwindles rather than expands. Next iOS, WinMobile offers protection from most of the issues I listed above. Plus I'm really curious about the mobile Xbox thing cause I love my Xbox. I hope that iOS does not go anywhere, i find that I now seek it's interoperability than I do with my Mac. My whole ecosystem is driven by it and migrating is something that I would loose sleep over.

Omg they are phones people, not artificial hearts.
People saying they couldn't go on if iPhone didn't exist?? Really?? What did you do before it came along??
Jebus. Just get over it. We love our iPhones but they don't define us or who we are. And my god talking about the other platforms like McCarthy talked about the communists is a little soap Opra drama queenish to me.

definitely back to blackberry, specifically the 9930. I tried android and had the nexus s for a little, too intricate and convoluted. blackberry and iOS get the job done just fine, and I wouldn't know which android to choose since there's so many.
