Just downloaded and installing... read that the install is a bit scary... after the install, it reboots to a blank desktop... you have to power down and restart, and then all is as it should be... how very un-Apple-like... will advise when it completes... (other machine, obviously).

I found a list of the changes in Mavericks (OS X 10.9) beta 2 on 9to5Mac:

Apple releases OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 2, here’s what’s new

Following up on this morning’s release of iOS 7 beta 2 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to developers, Apple has released the second Developer Preview of OS X 10.9 Mavericks. The new seed is available as a Software Update via the Mac App Store. The build number is 13A497d. This compares to Preview 1′s version number of 13A476u.

Also available are fresh seeds of Xcode 5 and OS X Server. Below, we’ve compiled changes in the new Mavericks seed:
    - Moving around and using the OS seems much snappier and more stable
    - Minor UI tweaks in Safari
    - Tweaks to share/Message buttons in Notification Center
    - iCloud Keychain setup prompt
    - Migration Assistant now functional
    - Improved performance for select files viewed in Preview
The install was, indeed, strange, as I indicated above. It would have been extremely unsettling to encounter had I not seen a warning post on the web about it. After the second reboot, it seems very stable - smooth and perhaps a bit faster. I haven’t actually noticed any changes, personally beyond the smoothness.

Thanks for the list I hadn't even noticed the iMessage button in NC until you mentioned it but in DP 1 I was like they should put it in so I'm glad to see it there. The notification sync is F'ing nuts I LOVE it but it only works when the messages are sent from devices using iOS 7. I didn't notice any weird installation lol I started the upgrade last night left the laptop on over night so perhaps that is why I missed out on all the drama. This morning when I woke up it was asking me for my Apple ID credentials and it was all done. I noticed they now have the option to revert the keyboard shorctuts, that wasn't present in DP 1. In DP 2 though I have been having more issues than DP 1 go figure.
can't upgrade via iTunes check this thread http://forum.tipb.com/jailbreak-unlo...ml#post1717460

I did the same thing. Started the install, went out, then came back when it was finished. Never saw the elusive black screen issue. I just saw the iCloud Keychain login waiting for me.

Try disconnecting your BT devices, turning off BT and rebooting your Mac... then enable BT and try to pair it up again. I’m using a BT Magic Mouse with no issues. Just tested with a BT keyboard, and it’s all good. After installing DP2, when my MBP finished rebooting, the mouse was connected, just as always.
