This - com.apple.photos.videoconversionservice - is driving me mad. My Mac has been at full CPU power for an hour now, and there is zero information why.

I understand that the process does what it says, but WHY? There is no user selectable option to convert videos or even choose different versions. I have NO information why my Mac is working so hard...

I have only 15 short videos in my library. The library itself is just 3 gigs. There is absolutely nothing it should be doing so long, so hard.

Why the hell can't Apple just provide some info on what is happening in background. Most likely i wont ever need the results of what it is doing now.

All videos in library are just iPhone videos, nothing imported in weird format.

I thought, maybe it converts my videos to a smaller version, sice i choose to "Optimize storage". So i changed it to "store full versions" - no luck, still converting like crazy.

Any ideas what exactly is it doing and how to *hack it* to stop?
