Worth the update?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I was just curious about the update and if it was worth installing or not? I usually am the first to jump on updates, but for some reason I've been very hesitant about installing Yosemite on my MacBook Pro. What do all of you who have installed it think?

Mid 2014 is my first Mac and it came with Mavericks but the first thing I did was install Yosemite. I've just had one system crash but otherwise it's been great.

Hmm... I still have Snow Leopard on my 2011 13" MacBook Pro. It's been fine all this time, although I'm considering updating to Yosemite.
