    Default Mavericks GM/Upgrade?

How does Apple re-charge if you have downloaded Mavericks GM? If you have a developer account and download the GM for free when and how, or if, will Apple charge you for the upgrade?

In the past if you have a valid developer account then in your downloads in Dev center is the release candidate for the OS.

But then once it is released to the public, do you need to pay the upgrade fee in the Mac AppStore and if so how does that work since you already have it installed.

Once you download the GM as a developer Mavericks will always show up in your downloads. With your $99 fee you also purchased a copy of Mavericks, I just picked up a new Macbook Pro w/Retina and when I went to my purchased software tab there was a Mavericks logo that said "Upgrade To Mavericks" ... I clicked it and it is downloading in the background as I type this.
