"mac mp4 metadata release date format convert online"

Hi I need some help with such a little problem ! ;-p ...

Searched Google and have come away with nothing :-( The problem being with the Mac App 'Subler', which I'm finding is a really good simple Application but it does have one problem. The Metadata Tag 'Release Date' needs to be in a certain format and am not even sure what the format is but the input "13 December 2012" with not suffice !, and there is no either Online or Offline App available to do this. Can anyone help ?

I was using iDentify but it had some problems. 'Subler' is more manual but at the moment I'm liking that, however it needs the 'Release Date' in a certain format and am coming up blank all the time :-/
