Not sure if anyone uses Final Draft here but it's pretty much an essential part of my wife's career so she wasn't real thrilled when it updated to firmware 8.0.2 and decided to initially stop working and required us to call Final Draft and go through the activation process again (too a half hour on the phone)...
Now it's being problematic again...it seems that it doesn't care much for external hard drives anymore, and because my wife accesses many of her projects over a slew of external drives, this is proving troublesome as the files many times have to be transferred to the desktop (or documents folder) before they'll work with the program again.
They are aware of the issues, and they simply informed us a "fix was coming soon".
So any other Final Draft users out there, you share the same frustration as my wife (and in turn me, for having to listen to her fussing at people on the phone while she's trying to use a program she basically relies on for her income, lol).
