AirPlay audio choppy after installing 10.11 Beta

As soon as I installed the El Capitan Beta, I played a movie to my AppleTV via AirPlay and now the sound is choppy and sometimes blanks out for a few seconds before coming back. The only change was the upgrade to 10.11, anybody know what is happening? Is there possibly an AppleTV update needed? I can't check currently because my ATV battery is dead and I'm too cheap to get one just yet.

There hasn't been an AppleTV OS update since like when the iOS 8.2 came out.
