iPad 1 5.1.1 with iOS 6 App Store?

So I wanted to update one of my favorite apps but it required iOS 6, so I went into iFile and changed SystemVersion.plist to iOS 6.
I went to the AppStore but it wasn't loading so I decided to reboot.

But then while I was rebooting, the loading bar came up, as if it was updating something.

So once it loaded I opened the AppStore and went to the top charts but it loaded like the iOS 6 AppStore!
Search doesn't work, Featured doesn't work.

Anyone know what's going on???

The change you made in the SystemVersion.plist induced other things to become corrupt when you rebooted.

Probably.

There comes a point in every iDevice's life when it will no longer support certain apps... you've discovered some things just can't be forced with a hack...
