iOS5+iPad1=safari crashes A LOT

IPad 1 seems to handle safari better on iOS 5.1.1.

Now it's only really graphic intensive games that crash, but that's to be expected.

The 5.1 update does help some with Safari's crashes and lagging. Also, clearing the cookies and history every week or 2 speeds it up.

iOS 5.1.1 helped the situation. Safari doesn't crashed after opening 3-4 tabs with pretty heavy sites like CNN, iMore, etc. highly recommend the OS upgrade.

I never had much issue with my Original iPad on iOS 5.0. But now my girlfriend uses it the update didn't hurt cause she never complains and she never clears the cookies and seems to not know how to close a window. I swear every time I pick hers up she has 6-8 windows open. If it was not working right I would hear it.

Mine has been crashing a lot, I did a full restore and it seems to limit the crashes but it's being the hugest pain in the ass.

I'm still dreaming of that unicorn 7inch ipad.
