password incorrect

I changed to the longer password on my ipad2 on Sunday. I had to retype it so you know it was correct. I used it 2 more x on Sunday and it worked. I did not use my ipad again until today and it says my password is incorrect. NOW the problem. If I restore, I loose everything I have because I found out tonight that it has not backed up since June 27th when I got it. I sync it every night but there are no backups dated since 6/27.

I have tried everything. I know the password. No one has touched it but me. I can prove I am the owner. Have my salesslip and box.

The only thing you can do if you can't remember the password is to connect it to the computer that your iPhone is synced to and do a restore.

Put the iPad in DFU mode and do a clean hard restore. Means don't restore from stock.

I think if you subscribed to Find my iPhone, you might be able to change te pass code on the web without knowing the exact code.
