iPad won't go into DFU mode

MY iPad won't go into DFU mode. Im holding the buttons for the correct amount of time.

Instead it just goes into recovery mode.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Recently upgraded to 4.2.1

You're doing it wrong then. If you follow the directions, it'll work. Just keep trying.

Yeah DFU mode is alot harder than restore mode. Just keep trying and you'll get it. This is the good thing about tethered JB you become a pro at DFU mode.

You have to hold the power button and the home button for exactly 10 seconds then release the power button and continue holding the home button for another 10 seconds. After this process your iPad will go into DFU mode.
