Jobs: Mute switch will stay

9-5 Mac is reporting that Apple CEO Steve Jobs, reveled in a e-mail sent by a customer that the mute switch in 4.2 will stay a mute switch, and won't have an option for a screen lock.

on IOS 4.2 for iPad is the switch on the side going to be the mute and not screen orientation lock from now on?
