When the new iOS comes out, I may give up my MiFi and go with the iPhone as hotspot. I will have to buy myself out of my Verizon plan. I will also be transferring the power requirement to the iPhone battery. Not sure how I will like that.
The iPhone 4 is the first iPhone that I have had where I could expect to get a day of use without a re-charge. Do not want to give that up.

I don't regret getting the 3G. At work we have no wifi and the 3G is actually as fast as our crappy wired network.
Will iOS 4.3 with the hotspot on my iPhone 4 be able to connect to a wifi only iPad? I already use the tethering with my MacBook, which works fine at work.
