If i receive a pdf or docx document via email and I open that document, there is no way to close out of the document. In either orientation, no menu bar is present or appears after touching the screen so there is no "done" button. If I open the document with an app, the document remains open in email so that when I open email again, the document is still open until i shut down the iPad and restart.
