According to Boy Genius Reports Verizon Wireless is now testing iPads on their network. On the heals of the AT&T announcement to discontinue the offering of an unlimited data plan this is great news.

Hopefully in the near future iPad and iPhone owners will be able to get service on Verizon's wireless network and stick it to AT&T.

There is absolutely no proof of this whatsoever. Just more "people briefed on the matter" reports. What we DO have is Verizon going on record and saying that they're not supporting Apple stuff.

UGh. Seems that I can't post links yet. LAME. Anyway, it's on beet.tv today.
