Best Buy iPad 3G availability

Does anyone know when Best Buy will have the 3G iPads in stock? I called a store who has the WiFi only versions and she seemed pretty clueless as to when their 3G's would be arriving.

I would say call and talk to someone else. I am sure they will get a decent amount and I dont see them flying off the shelves as quick as the inital iPad launch. Who the hell wants to pay AT&T $30 more when they give the iPhone such crappy reception?

All the Best Buy shops, with an Apple section will have the iPad 3G and or wifi today, for sale after 17:00.

Albeit, they have NOT yet updated their website to show the 3G version...

The option to use 3G will be popular and the GPS is worth the $130 difference, even if you never use the 3G. I think most people who got the non-3G iPads would agree to pay another $130 to upgrade to the 3G version today.

The store here in OKC has 10 64g and 5 32g but not sellling them until 5 pm. I don't get the 5pm thing.

If nothing else, purchasing the 3g may help the resale value when it comes time to sell it and upgrade to the 2nd generation ipad.

I have the wifi only one and am totally happy with it. I would never use the 3G I'm a stay at home mom who doesn't venture out much. If i want gps i will get it system for my car I don't want to haul my iPad all over. Mine will prolly never leave my house and therefore my wifi network. So 3G would be a total waste.

Looks like you can't use the streaming apps like Netflix or ABC with 3G...

That sucks. Both seemed to work fine when i tethered ipad to my iphone's 3G using Mywi.

My best buy had 15 32s and 15 64s..they didn't get any 16s
