why is the ibook store icon missing from my ibooks in my ipad mini

the ibook app is in-built. I cant buy ibooks. I live in Fiji.

If the iBooks Store is gone, you might have it unchecked in Settings. To check, go to the Settings app, then General, then Restrictions. Scroll down to see iBooks Store, and you can turn it on/off. Hopefully, that fixes your issue.
