This is the problem that i'm currently facing and i'd like to know whether anyone in this forum has the same problem.

I have the Mini in Black for almost a month now and am very happy with it. I decided to buy another two as christmas gifts. Bought both black and white and brought them home. 2 days after, I decided to open it just to check everything is working perfectly. Everything seemed to be fine until I compared both new Minis' screen to my own Mini. I happened to check them in the dark and surprisingly found that both screens have a very yellowish color in comparison to mine. It's not located in a specific area of the screen, the whole screen has a yellow effect. The white being the most and the black being the least yellowish. I compared them by looking at websites with white background like apple front page and stuff. The difference was very obvious once i put them side by side.

Is this normal? Has anyone ever experienced this? Do you think this mainly due to the "fresh glue" underneath the screen? I tried to take a picture to show but my iPhone's camera would not be able to do so.

Thank you in advance, any helps and advices would be appreciated.

It's normal this happens. Apple uses different screen manufactures. The screens can be different between them.

Do you think the screen on both would be normal by the time goes on?? On the black, the yellow effect is not as worse as on the white though. I hope this is not something serious

As Garz said above, it is normal for one iPad or even an iPhone to have a warmer color tone to it than another. It depends on who the screen was manufactured by. Also, yes, the iPad will be perfectly normal as time goes by. I had an unlocked iPhone 4S that had the yellowish warmer color tone to it. Had it for a while before selling it to get the 5. Never had any issues with the screen or anything else. Apple will replace the iPad if there is ever any problems with it, so enjoy it. :)
