What do you think the best Mac that Apple ever designed was?

I think it was the Apple II ... Very ahead of its time, worked well and was very reliable.

My favorite has been and remains the unibody MacBook Pro. It's such a classy looking machine, while maintaining a certain level of utilitarianism. Second favorite would have been the colored clamshell notebook that came out around the time of the original iMac.

The new MacBook is a beautiful machine. It is a little small and underpowered, but as far as design goes it is second to none.

This is a tough question considering I've owned several Macs since my Apple IIc. They've all been beautiful machines. I would have to say the current generation Mac Pro takes the crown. It looks nothing like any computer ever built and packs a tremendous amount of power into a small package. It's sleek as heck even if it looks a little bit like a trash can
