Apple and Samsung were forced to reveal precise sales numbers for their smartphones and pad computers in court.
Interesting little tidbits:
Total US Galaxy Tab shipments (Galaxy Tab + Galaxy Tab 10.1 + Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE) declined 86% year-over-year from Q2 2011 to Q2 2012.
From 266,000 units down to 37,000. (Yes. Thirty seven thousand.)
Total US iPad shipments increased 33% year-over-year from Q2 2011 to Q2 2012.
From 4.29 million to 5.71 million.
Doing the math, Apple sold 154 times as many pads as Samsung did last quarter in the US.
Will be interesting to see how Android apologists spin this.
Internal sales documents show Samsung has lost the war for tablet supremacy in the US
