ADDING AND ORGANIZING CONTACTS IN iPHONE 4S

I am facing problem in adding Contacts. After I add Contacts it gets distributed in Group, iCloud and are mixed up. My default Email is Yahoo. How do I Import or Sync. those addresses and Phone numbers from there, if so how.
I use Outlook but have not been able to Configure it due to POP3 and SMTP server addresses.
Can any one help me?

I'm confused are you syncing with iCloud? Yahoo? Outlook? Or all three?
