And, I'm not trying to push my preference on others, so I've got no reason to go and join an android forum to talk about how awesome iPhone is. That's like going to a KKK meeting and trying to show people the latest queen latifah movie...

Classical music is my inspiration: the great Viennese School Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven.... but 20th century music isn't bad though... Radiohead, Queen, and Beatles.

    Default Shakira

Shakira is and has been my inspiration since her first album to enter mainstream music, Pies Descalzos. Her achievements, success, but most of all her humbleness and dedication to noble causes like her Pies Descalzos (Barefeet) foundation, has taught me that perseverance and never forgetting or ignoring where you've come from and who you truly are, are the key to anything and everything you set your mind to.

Growing up listening to Joe Satriani, got me interested in music and guitar. Garage Band would be great to have on my first iPhone, the 4s.

The artists that got me started in the majestic world of music are Tappy Iwase and Harry Gregson-Williams, for their compositions of the original Metal Gear Solid Main Theme music. That was the best song ever composed for a video game, and sadly horrible people have taken it away from the great series of games. A shame, really.

In my opinion, music is music; you cannot claim notes--different frequencies of waves that make up sound--as your own, even if you made something of them by putting them in a series. Just like light, sound is also a part of the universe, and it was created by the universe, not humans.
