    Default iPod Nano 7th gen?

I'm a bit confused... is the iPod nano update completely a software update, or did they release a new piece of hardware?
They said now you don't need a sensor to track your runs, which would imply a GPS receiver, which frankly does not exist in the current iPod Nano. Unless they are just reusing the accelerometer, which in fact will NOT track a run, just remember how many steps you took - and they spruced up the words to make it sound nicer.

Just like the iPhone 4S, and iPod Touch 5G the changes are none hardware changes. but, inside changes such as better CPU's.
