and then my laptop turns into an F'in pile of ooze. It becomes so slow I think I would be faster working on a 486

Happens a lot for me as well and I'm on Windows. So take what you will from that, Adobe! -_-

Exactly!!!!!! When I'm on the Windows side I have to copy a whole bunch of flv files to my brothers computer for his website and it's a royal freaking PAIN. Sometimes they wont copy over it will just get stuck on the first file and if I cancel I wont be able to transfer the rest of the files until I reboot I transfer tons of other files jpg, tiff, rar and never have problems grrrrr Adobe and you wonder why Apple doesn't want your $#!t sheesh
