Your favourite classical composer

My musical tastes are pretty eclectic as I like everything from thrash metal to classical.

My favourite classical composer is definitely Mussorgsky. I pretty much guarantee that even if you don't know the name, you've heard at least some of his music either in a film or on a commercial.

'Night on Bald Mountain' was the iconic piece of music used in Fantasia (The Mickey Mouse wizard cartoon), Animaniacs and Natural Born Killers for instance. 'Pictures at an Exhibition' was used in The Big Lebowski and Gran Turismo 4 etc too.

So come on, classical fans, who is your favourite composer and what piece from them is your most liked?

Hmmm, good question. Bach or Brahms. I like some Beethoven as well. I don't listen to classical music as much as I used to.

I do like a little bit of Toccata in D Minor by Bach, pretty much the only classical piece I can play on the piano too.

I like everyone mentioned so far, but my favorite is Beethoven. Add some Mendelssohn, Mozart and Dvorak and I could be pretty happy with the playlist.
