I prefer digital. But if its an oldie song like from the 80's, 90's then I would rather get a CD. :)

I'm not gonna lie. I was initially offended at your reply until I realized that 1980 was 35 years ago. Dang, don't I feel as if I've been dug up from an archaeological dig...(laughing)

Hard copy. Been burned too many times from crappy hard drives, broken laptops, and lost mp3 players to deal too much in digital.

Digital all the way so I can have it with me everywhere I go!
But I used to buy physical copies, when I had my White Westinghouse portable cd players (15 years ago =P ).

All digital, all the time. I have no use for physical music this day in age. My last two cars haven't even had CD players!

Physical. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a dinosaur in this respect. However, I would like to start using my iPod Nano a lot more this year.

This is a hard one for me. I used to say digital so that I can rip them to CD instantly, but at the same time that kind of makes the two equal. Over the past few months, I have been trying to become more conscious of if I want to buy media digitally or not. So far, I have just streamed instead. Digital is more likely for me though.

I haven't been a physical copy kinda guy in YEARS! Now with the advent of Apple Music, there's almost no way I'm going back. One caveat is mixtapes that artists release on sites like DatPiff and LiveMixtapes that aren't on Apple Music. Even then, DatPiff has an app that could save mixtapes offline so...
