I know that Apple changed Logic Studio by stripping it of a few elements and putting it online for download as Logic Pro 9.. what is different from the boxed version as opposed to the app store download of it now?

I read online that all the things that were a part of Logic Studio are either integrated into the downloadable program or are available via in-app download. Does that mean its a free download or are you buying expansions within the program and so on?

Haven't been able to find a solid answer so I was wondering if anyone on here has any insight on this.

It comes with Mainstage and includes all of the jam packs. You can also purchase Mainstage
separately for $30 (I think) and get all of the jam packs.
