I think the first band to really get me into music was Pearl Jam. Soon after that, Tool & Dream Theater. Still listen to all of them often!

Though I've been playing piano for forever, the band/artists that really inspired me into starting to make my own music are solo electronic artists like Basshunter and deadmau5, who make music on programs very much like Garageband!

One singer who's always inspired me is Luther Vandross, unfortunately I got to appreciate him more after he passed away...as they say, you never know what you have till it's gone. He's the perfect example of someone who started from humble beginnings and made it to the top. Such an inspirational person!
