    Was bend gate really overblown?

Thanks for the reinforcement. I'm gone.

    Was bend gate really overblown?

I'm allowed to criticize any product I see fit. And as this is a forum about Apple and Apple products, this is the place to do it. If my opinions don't jive with yours, I can't do anything about that. The forum member that I called out for being rude was, in fact, being rude. Took the...

    Was bend gate really overblown?

It was hilarious because they filmed it, posted it on YouTube, and then didn't understand why they got in trouble. There is some humor there... Don't be so uptight. :raised-eyebrow:

    Was bend gate really overblown?

No. It was extremely poor design for a product that costs so much. Go try bending my Lumia 820. Or even an iPod Classic. The material they used for the 6 is just of a weaker quality. And Apple should have addressed it appropriately. That said, I'm still glad it happened because it led to those...

Phil Schiller is full of it!

The low capacity on the iPhone was a BIG reason I avoided it for eight years. I could have purchased the 5C with the money I had, but I just couldn't deal with having anything lower than 32GB. That's the only reason I got the 4S over a newer model. 64GB is just delicious.

Phil Schiller is full of it!

I just said that I got that from my own experiences and social circle. Most people I know don't switch phone unless they have an upgrade. At least in my American social circle. But to be fair, the iPod Nano (/Mini) doesn't come in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB anymore. Base storage increases over...

Phil Schiller is full of it!

That's interesting. I've had a total different experience. I mean people can deal with it, but then when I prod I get the "...well, I wish I had more space for my pictures and stuff." Unfortunately for me, cloud is great as a backup but I can't constantly stream with my budget data plan. So I...

Phil Schiller is full of it!

He's not doing his job all that well if this thread exists, though. I've never met anybody who's happy with 16GB after a long period of time except the most basic of users. I mean most people have to use these phones for a full two-years. And that's an extremely long time to be so cramped. 32GB...

What do you think about only one port?

You know... I tried to keep it respectful in my posts and, for the most part, light-hearted. But some of you people are just rude, rude, rude. And you both just demonstrated my suspicion. Challenge or question anything about an Apple product and the daggers comes out. To reiterate, my answer...

What do you think about only one port?

Kind of helps my point, though. lol I mean, doesn't matter how many companies do it. Doesn't make it right... But I'll stop. I feel like some people have their daggers aimed at my throat for talking poorly of the mighty glowing Apple and daring to question their pricing strategy...

What do you think about only one port?

I'm not sure if I'm just not making myself clear or not. What I'm trying to say is that for the price of manufacturing the new Macbook (including new components) is the most disparate to the price they are charging. Rather than putting a value on the "features" (if you can even call them that)...

    iPod Nostalgia (2003 - 2007) - Or, feeling growing pains at 25.

I've been collecting vinyl since I was 12  I meant the Golden Age of the iPod's timeline itself. That said, I can't stand The Beatles or The Eagles. Don't hate me.

    iPod Nostalgia (2003 - 2007) - Or, feeling growing pains at 25.

I feel like I need to get some thoughts out there... I'm in my mid-20s. And somebody recently posted something on YouTube about how 1990's music is now considered "old music." Two days later, I noticed that kids today are referring to older generation iPod Touches are "old iPods." Not even a...

What do you think about only one port?

All the things you listed don't justify the price from a business standpoint. It's not simply opinion that's influencing my decision. The new Macbooks don't stand alone, but amongst all of the rival products and standards. The Macbook shoots way passed the average pricing for what you actually...

What do you think about only one port?

Well you didn't address the issue with the price. I don't have a problem with the product itself so much as what Apple is charging for this product. That's a big reason for the criticism. I mean, we all know about the Apple tax and how you pay for branding, design in addition to high-quality and...
