Watch OS 2.2 Beta 4 released to Developers...

Has anyone had trouble installing it? I'm getting "Unable to install update" and it says I'm not connected to the Internet, although I'm definitely connected to the Internet. Any ideas?

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

Re: Downgrade watchOS 2 to 1.0.1 I would bet on Monday. They normally come on Mondays and Eddie Cue has already confirmed that it's coming early next week.

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

Re: Downgrade watchOS 2 to 1.0.1 Thanks. I'll let you know if that works. If it does, I swear I'm powering this thing down until beta 3 comes out. Eddie Cue tweeted it was coming early next week. iOS 9, WatchOS 2, Mac OS El Capitan Beta 3 Coming Early Next Week

Re: Downgrade watchOS 2 to 1.0.1 So now that my reset worked out, it randomly rebooted and now it's stuck on a similar screen as the one above

You sir, are amazing!!! Neigh! Amazeballs! I know you weren't exactly responding to my comment but it worked! I held both buttons, it reset, and now it's performing the factory reset! Thank you! I thought this thing was totally bricked!

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

So I've got a bit of a problem. Maybe someone could help. I have WatchOS 2 Beta 2 on my Apple Watch Sport and iOS 9 on my iPhone 6. I restored my iPhone 6 yesterday to check out iOS 8.4. When I went back to iOS 9 Beta 2, I did a factory reset on the watch so I could pair it again. Now, the Apple...

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

Re: Downgrade watchOS 2 to 1.0.1 As far as I can tell, there is a DFU mode. It just doesn't do anything because it's not connected to anything. When you shut off the watch, hold down the digital crown while putting it on the charger. It goes into DFU mode. I could be wrong though.

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

May I ask why you didn't research this before you upgraded your Apple Watch? It's common sense since there's no obvious way to downgrade like there is with Mac OS and iOS. Also, why use an iPhone if you're gonna jailbreak it?

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

Generally, it's every two weeks. Not sure where you got 15 days from. I know that sometimes they drop it on a Tuesday, but usually after that it goes back to a Monday. You never really see them on a Wednesday. I'm expecting the next beta on Monday.

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

Re: Downgrade watchOS 2 to 1.0.1 My money is on us getting a 1.0 Configuration Profile. The only problem is that they've always told us that there's no way to go back and it's always been up to us to figure out how to do it. Coming out and telling us how would be unprecedented. I think they...

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

Exactly. They're also forgetting that the iOS 9 beta displays the exact same message about not being able to downgrade. I've never understood people that complain about people complaining.

I think they'll have a downgrade tool soon enough. This is too big of a problem.

How can I downgrade Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1?

First of all, I'm not complaining about it. I don't think most people are. I think most of us are simply looking for a solution to a problem. Keep in mind that all Apple betas say you can't go back, but you can always do an iTunes restore where it downloads and installs the official OS. Even iOS...
