Not sure if this was mentioned earlier, but whenever I try to listen to voicemail and put the phone to my ear, Siri decides to butt in. Yes, I know I can set it so she doesn't activate on putting the phone to my ear, but that's not really the best solution.

Used a Seidio Innocase for my 3GS and loved it. Just picked up a Seidio Active X for my 4S, and so far so good.

Nevermind, I just started from scratch and reinstalled the 4.3.3 firmware and was able to select a backup to restore from when it finished this time.

Yes, you're right. I didn't mean that they were more accurate simply because of the design of them, but it does sound that way when I read my post. What I intended to say was that the bars are now actually an accurate representation of my true signal strength, which is apparently pretty crummy...

The update notes only have one line: Improves the formula to determine how many bars of signal strength to display. By that, I'm guessing they haven't yet addressed the proximity sensor issue with the iPhone 4 (can't test it as I'm on 3GS). The new bars do not look as nice as they used to...

Got it to finally restore to a 3.1.3 firmware, but then I was having issues with Cydia so I couldn't get SB Settings and Backgrounder, which were my main reasons for jailbreaking. Decided to then bite the bullet and go to 4.0....now I'm one of the many who have no data access :(

Hmm...ok, so I'll look up how to alter iTunes to point to Cydia first. If that doesn't work, I can actually upgrade to 4.0 as long as I update iTunes first? Didn't know that. Thanks!

I jailbroke this phone for the first time last month when Spirit was released and had no problems. Then, last night, Cydia told me it had a bunch of updates to install so I installed them. It looked like everything was going fine, then it got stuck when I selected to restart the springboard...
