Specimen , I need a bigger screen . Email/internet /phone /contacts /calendar is all i need . I don't want butler , 3rd party alarm softwares and others....... If a phone can do all that properly , i do not care ,whether the plateform is open or closed.

I am sure widgets will address most o fthe third party apps. I am with you splash ID is the most important 3rd party app. I am sure will have something like that either as widget or an app from apple .
