The best way is still the UMA but not available on iPhone yet, It is on the blackberry 8900, what's cool about UMA is that it will use you'r own minutes.

none, but I droped my ipod touch in wather once, no damage !

when I updated my ipod touch to 3.0 software I started to lose the wifi connection, the problem is only on my ipod touch and not on my iphone 3g, fortunately !

What version are you on ? try to update had problems with my wi-fi to but solve it with the 3.1.2 update

I think the prepaid data plan is a great alternative.

The iPod shown in the picture seems to have it's glass cracked, however in some cases, if the impact was not to strong, everithing works peferctly because the touch screen is only under the glass but uses a different material that makes it more resistant. I have had a cracked screen iPhone...

I would be using a BlackBerry, they are great phones but the iPhone is still the best on the market.

There are free SIP accounts on the internet that you could set up in Fring to place and receive calls but the quality is poor unlike the cellular.

But the Blackberry is still better for the sound settings than the iPhone.
