I say do some research on this forum before doing anything with your phone. Especially if you don't know the difference between 3g and the first iPhone. There is a sticky in this forum that explains everything you need to know. Good luck and learn your phone before doing anything to it.

My phone has the light leak on the side, but it doesn't bother me nor would I waste the time to deal with ATT or Apple hah. The light leak is a known issue, I've googled it, but no biggie. I Love this phone with a passion.
