Pretty sure my laggy iPad 3 would beg to differ lol. Was fine on iOS 7 and didn't plan to upgrade until I was forced to after having to restore... Hell, even the onscreen keyboard is lagging as I type this. Plus the fact that apple wants to be a bunch of dicks and block downgrades doesn't help...
