After messing with the new desktop Safari layout I think I prefer the mobile version on my 9.7” iPad. It feels cluttered this way. The screen is big but not that big. I’m checking settings but I don’t see an option to change this yet. Any ideas?

Re: TV app is gone in iPadOS Found it. They changed the look. It looks a lot like the remote app used to look. It’s a different color scheme than the iPhone version.

Anyone notice that the TV app has disappeared? I don’t mean the Apple TV remote app. I’ve Googled this and can’t find an answer. That’s a useful app.

I was hoping this would get fixed with iPadOS. Alas, it did not.

Yeah, pretty much. I thought I’d heard talk of them stopping production upon release of the new phones but I can’t seem to verify it.

My wife and I have been rocking a 6 since the fall they were first released. I’ll probably throw in the towel and buy something. She’s resistant to spending a fortune on phones but maybe I can convince her to buy the XS for each of us.

Hey guys, I’m still using an iPhone 6. Seeing as I won’t be able to upgrade to iOS 13, I’m considering an XS because I want a better screen and great camera. I can’t find much online about if they’ll continue to manufacture it after the new phones are released this fall. Any news about this?

I made some progress with this. Here’s a fairly huge thing I missed: You have to download the Shortcuts app for this to work. I managed to get a couple of radio stations to work but I barely understand how I did it.

I should have mentioned that I turned it on in Settings prior to posting here. No luck. It’s not even like it’s malfunctioning. It’s like Siri has no clue what I’m talking about; like there was no update at all.

We’re supposed to be able to use Siri to start stations or playlists in Pandora with iOS 12. I’ve completely failed to make it work. I’ve tried using Siri to start a station from the lock screen, from the home screen, and within the app but no dice. A Google search hasn’t been helpful either...

With the update, the News app on the iPad now has a menu on the left for shortcuts to news outlets. I’d like to get rid of it but can’t figure out how. Anyone know? It takes up too much screen for my tastes.

I love Apple Pay but I’m pretty sure the vast majority of iPhone owners don’t use it. Just asking around over the past couple of years, I get met with blank stares when I ask about it. Many don’t seem aware it exists and aren’t interested in trying it.

No other service I pay for does that. This is new to me.
