Ordered mine on the morning of 9/16/18 with the 9/28/18 - 10/2 ship date. Shipped last Thursday, original delivery date was set 10/25/18 on UPS. But got an e-mail this morning that they made a have rescheduled the delivery to Monday.

This is correct, the pre-approval process was for customers who were currently enrolled in iUP previously. But who knows, Apple could change it up this year.

My preference is Space Gray. However both have their pro's and con's. With the silver you can actually use cape cod to get rid of the scratches that builds overtime on the stainless steel band, but with Space Gray you will destroy it because of the PVD coating on the stainless steel.

You are obsessing over an issue that's not really an issue. No iPhone X are the same. Some will have a firm mute button, some will have a minor play. There are manufacture tolerances when it comes to build and are likely within spec. It it was really loose then I'd understand but 10%. Not sure...

Re: Why are you making this such a big deal when you are going to be "Upgrading" to a new one this year when you are on the iUP? Not worth the time. Personally I don't see any dust in your photos. Just keep it.

Nope, I don't use them. Gets in a way when I put in on the inductive charging stand.
