Hit the Start button, select Run, type in "cmd" and then hit Enter. You will now be looking at a Command Prompt window, aka terminal window.

Try restarting the computer, if you havent already done so. I do not think ATT will update the phone for you, I dont know their capabilty though.

I agree with Scott. Disable your firewall. Disable your AV software. Put the device in Airplane Mode. Worked like a charm for me last night. Of course, once you are up and running with a successful install, re-activate all of your protection...

After its 2nd full power cycle I got 8 hrs of usage with 1 day and 10 hrs of standyby! Battery remaining was at 2%. I had an assortment of calls, texts, email, browsing, games over the 2 days. Screen - 50% (auto brightness OFF) Gmail exchange I am very impressed. This phone is even better...
