Yes, they are. However, iPhone 5S and prior had some band issues, where as the 5S and 6 have all bands unlocked for US frequencies for AT&T and T-Mobile and their respective MVNOs. Now with 6S, the VZW and TMO are identical but the AT&T version has support for one additional band - Band 30, which if it is important then the VZW device will not support that band.
How important is Band 30?

There are a bazillion articles out there discussing it. Anyway with a 5S there should be no issues but the SE will not support Band 30.
