How to adjust 'Calendar/Birthday' notifications?

I noticed that overtime there's a birthday in my calendar coming up... I get notified 1 day prior to the event, making me forget about the actual birthday a day later.

- Is there any way I can change this?
I'd much rather see a notification on the birthday itself.

You can change it

Settings > Calendar > Default Alert Times

Then adjust under there. There's a setting for birthdays, events, etc.

You can change it, but not the time (9am) and you can't have 2 notification times. Like the day before and 2 hours before, as I do with Dr visits. One would need to create a 2nd event for a birthday to get more notifications other than the 9 am.
