Any suggestions as to how I could repair my MacBook charging cable without replacing it?

So I'm notorious for running my MacBook charging cables into the ground, and unfortunately this one has bitten the dust (RIP charging cable #3,042)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could repair the cable without replacing it? Any advice is totally welcome!
