I am in the market for my second MacBook ever. Right now I am rocking a 2010 MacBook Pro that hits its last legs. I am looking to buy a 2015 MacBook Pro 15" i7 256gb 16gb Ram with Apple care plus until 08/19 for 1450.00 usd. Good deal or pass?

For the 15" that's a good deal. I think I paid $1999 for mine about 6 months ago. Go for it!

    Thanks for the question @AugustVance.

Oh yes. Sounds like a great deal me. Especially considering that you pay $2,000 for a new one on Apple's website. Grab it while you can. The 16GB RAM and i7 processor will be a really nice upgrade over your 2010 Macbook Pro. The screen looks gorgeous AND you getting a 99Wh battery which is HUGE.

I went ahead and snagged it up. Should be here Friday. I couldn't pass up the deal. I figured a new one $2000 + taxes (180-200) + AppleCare+ which it includes (350) I'm saving ALOT of money. I'm only missing out on 6 months of warranty time and the battery only has 67 cycles.

    Congratulations on your new purchase!
Hope you enjoy it. The 15" is a beast of a laptop. The included Apple care is a definite bonus. You found a gem of a deal.
