I really want the 2016 model but that's WAAAY out my budget. So are most models but I've been wanting to make the switch to mac for a while so maybe I'll try to get a used early 2015/2014 model. Is there any reliable site you have used to purchase used macbooks in great condition?

Also, do you have any good tips when looking for a used macbook pro?

I'd say try eBay. I'm not sure how much you can expect 2014/2015 models to be priced, but you should be able to find used MacBook Pros in great condition for reasonable prices.

I got the MacBook Pro I'm using to type this reply from eBay for $600 in April 2015. It's a 2011, but I grabbed it because it had lots of bells and whistles - 500GB hard drive, 8GB RAM, dual boot with Windows 7 (which I've since upgraded to Windows 10), Microsoft Office and Adobe CS6. Overall, I think I got it for a steal. If you want a used MBP, I recommend you get one that has at least a bit of the usual necessary programs installed. Good luck!

Yep! Plus, they come with a warranty unlike used ones.

Mac Of All Trades and Swappa are two other good places to check. Keeping in mind that Macs really hold value so don't expect too much of a discount for buying used!

Do they sell them online or do I have to visit the store?
