new MacBook Pro - using fingerprints to manage security on different accounts

As I wait for my new MBP, I wonder if this is a good way to implement better security. Obviously you can now have very long passwords but use your fingerprint, but the more interesting idea is that this could be a less painful way to follow the security advice of not using an administrative account all the time. That is, you could set up an administrative and a regular account secured with different fingers, and then (I hope) quickly switch to the administrative account only when necessary.

Has anyone done this or see a flaw in the idea?

I'd consider simply using the main administrator account while on Mac. You could just have the system prompt you to authenticate any time you need to download new software or make significant changes which is what Linux users do. What you're suggesting seems like a much more time consuming means of going about. Best of luck!
